I’m Chetan Sharma — Founder of CSharma Consultancy, based in Punjab, India.
About 18 years building software, the last 10 focused on Shopify. I run a team of ~10 doing custom Shopify development, integrations, and the infrastructure behind them. Before that I co-founded Alliance Ecommerce and led a team of around 40 building ecommerce platforms for brands across the UK, US, Canada, France, Germany and India — with the UK as our biggest market.
What I work on
- Custom Shopify development — public and private apps built around specific client workflows.
- Integrations — connecting Shopify with WMS and OMS systems, with Python scripts that keep data in sync across platforms.
- Infrastructure & security — server setup and maintenance on DigitalOcean; Cloudflare configuration including WAF and security rules.
- Applied AI/ML — predictive models, retraining loops, and automation built into real integrations and private projects, not off-the-shelf products.
Background
Over the years my team has built ~15 Shopify storefronts for established brands, shipped 3 public apps, and delivered around 10 private/custom apps. I started as a QA lead, moved into full-stack engineering, then led teams building enterprise ecommerce platforms at Alliance Ecommerce before founding CSharma Consultancy in 2022.
That background — knowing where the data breaks, where the APIs lag, where ops teams actually lose time — is what makes integrations and AI work stick rather than stall.
